New free training course in communication and marketing for cinema launched by Cinecittà and Adnkronos

Rome--Cinecittà in partnership with Adnkronos Comunicazione, has announced the launch of a new, fully funded professional training course in communication and marketing for the audiovisual sector. The initiative, supported by EU funds, is designed to address the growing demand for skilled professionals within an expanding and evolving industry.

The course will run from November 2025 to January 2026 at the Adnkronos headquarters in Piazza Mastai, Rome. It aims to provide 25 selected participants with hands-on, market-driven expertise in communication and marketing applied to cinema, preparing them for roles in communication agencies, news outlets, production and distribution companies, television channels, and cultural event organisers.
Antonio Saccone, President of Cinecittà, commented that the role of communication has never been more pivotal within the audiovisual industry, which is continuously evolving. Cultural industries today need professionals capable of crafting meaningful narratives, engaging audiences, and creating added value around cultural content. The training course forms part of the larger Cinecittà Project, a strategic initiative within Italy's National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). It is funded by the EU under Mission 1 of the PNRR – Digitalisation, Innovation, Competitiveness, Culture and Tourism, and specifically Investment 3.2, which focuses on developing the Italian film industry.
The course spans 120 hours, offering a combination of theoretical lessons, practical exercises, and modules on workplace safety. Key topics will include institutional and product communication, journalism, press offices, communication agencies, film festivals, and Film Commissions. Participants will also engage in case studies and best practice analysis, ensuring they are equipped to navigate complex, fast-evolving environments.
