ROME- The employee of the Ministry of Education, who stated that he wished that Meloni’s daughter would suffer the same fate as 14 year old Martina Carbonaro, who was murdered by her ex-boyfriend, in late may, has been identified, according to Fratelli d’Italia.

“I wish Meloni’s daughter the fate of the girl from Afragola,” the employee wrote in a Facebook post following the murder of 14-year-old Martina Carbonaro. The post sparked after it was shared amongst member of the FdI, Chamber of Deputies, Galeazzo Bignami, said in a statement that the “hatred” for Meloni’s is out of control and “solidarity is no longer enough: now we need an exemplary response. Political criticism is one thing, but human hatred, and even more so toward children, cannot have the right of citizenship.”

Giuseppe Valditara, head of the ministry of education and representative for Lega stated that they are carrying out an investigation into the post. According to Bignami the name of the author was obscured in the screenshot of the pirates presented to him and in response stated that the relevant authorities would “adopt exemplary measures with no tolerance for violence.” The prime minister herself reposted the message on her own social media saying, “this is not a political clash. It is not even anger. It is something darker, which tells of a sick climate, an ideological hatred, in which everything seems permissible, even wishing death on a child to attack a parent. And it is against this violent climate that politics, all of it, should know how to unite. Because there are boundaries that must never be crossed. And defending them is a responsibility that goes beyond any affiliation.” og
