 Vera Italiana has been open for more than three years already and is led by renowned Italian chef Enzo Neri, whose passion for traditional Italian cuisine and commitment to quality ingredients have made the restaurant one of Tbilisi’s most Beloved dining place. Neri brings experience and a deep love for Italian food to every dish he creates.

 Before establishing himself in Tbilisi, he worked in London, New York and Dubai. Chef ensures each dish reflects the authenticity and simplicity that defines Italian cousine.

 “Tbilisi is a very charming city, it is beautiful , I love the diversity of the different areas and people are genuinely kind”- says Enzo.

 I decided to go to Vera Italiana with my old friend. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, it was clear that this was not just another Italian restaurant. I felt I was in a familiar place. I had been living in Rome for years and I could clearly see the ambiance reflected a blend of modern elegance and Italian charm, creating a warm and welcoming space."

 The soft lighting, cozy seating, and a tasteful combination of modern and classic Italian design elements set the stage for a relaxed yet refined dining atmosphere. The waiter took us to our table immediately, the place was crowded with locals and guests from other countries as well. I was surprised how Vera Italiana’s menu was a true celebration of Italy’s diverse and rich culinary traditions.

 The menu featured a variety of Italian favourites, from classic pasta dishes and pizzas to rich risottos and exquisite desserts. From traditional pasta dishes like Bucatini alla Carbonara to creative offerings such as Tagliatelle, squid ink blackened ribbon pasta with shrimps and pea sauce.

 The pizza menu was another highlight, featuring a range of traditional Italian style pizzas, each with a perfectly crispy crust and a variety of toppings, from traditional to more adventurous options. It was quite difficult to choose.

 After a while of thinking I decided to go with a classic Margherita and my friend with Lasagna.

 The waiter offered us an impressive selections of wine to pair with our dishes.

 The restaurant’s wine list featured both Italian and Georgian wines, allowing us to explore a range of unique flavours. We were told that the Italian wine is imported directly from Italy.

 I was excited to see Pinot Grigio on the list. I thought a glass of white wine would have been perfect with Italian dinner.

 Food arrived on time, Pizza came directly from the wood fired oven to our table , Neapolitan style with perfect crust, balanced sauce with mozzarella and fresh basil, the taste reminded me one of the best pizzas in Italy.

 For those who crave something beyond pasta and pizza, I saw the risottos in the menu. The waiter informed us that they were creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.

 No Italian meal is complete without dessert, and Vera Italiana certainly delivers on this front. A classic Tiramisu, rich Panna Cotta, or a creamy Cannolo for the perfect end to your meal.

 In addition to its exceptional food and drink offerings, Restaurant had an impeccable service. The staff was attentive and friendly, they tried to ensure that we felt welcome and taken care of.ù

 Their passion for Italian cuisine and commitment to providing an outstanding dining experience shined through in every interaction. Vera Italiana brought the heart and soul of Italy to Tbilisi, offered us a memorable dining experience which transported me and my friend straight to the streets of Italy.
