Napoli bumped off top spot in Serie A by Atalanta

ROME - Napoli have moved down to second place in Serie A, after they lost to fifth placed Lazio 1-0. Although there are still may more matches to played in this year's tournament, the loss massively shifts momentum to Atalanta, who are unbeaten in their last nine games.
Napoli will feel as if they did not help themselves in their game against Lazio. Napoli created and were gifted many fantastic opportunities which they failed to take, and were punished for doing so. Lazio's winning goal came in the 79th minute of the match, with Gustav Isaksen cutting in from his right-side and whipping the ball right into the top left hand corner of the goal. Napoli will be desperate to get back to their winning ways against easier side Udinese for their next match.
Atalanta kept up their fantastic run of form beating top side AC Milan 2-1. AC Milan came close to scoring in the first 10 seconds of the match, but the kept best opportunity came in the 12th minute when Charles De Ketelaere opened the scoring for Atalanta. However, AC Milan were quick to get the game square again as Alvaro Morata scored for the Milanese team in the 22nd minute. The game was at a deadlock then for almost an hour, until Ademola Lookman scored the winning goal for Atalanta, putting their at the top of the Serie A standings. Atalanta also have an easier opponent for their next match in Cagliari, so they will be fully set on keeping their first place.
