Finnish design showcased at Turin festival

The Experience...Finland_Turin exhibition, curated by Arianna Callocchia, aims to show local and international design community in Turin how contemporary Finnish architecture and design can improve the quality of life at the second edition of the Architecture in the City Festival. The Experience...Finland_Turin will celebrate Helsinki as the World Design Capital 2012 and showcase how design can be used as part of our everyday life and a tool to make cities more efficient and functional.

The exhibition will present the new Kamppi Chapel of Silence, designed by K2S Architects, as well selected contemporary Finnish architectural projects whose outstanding characteristics lie not only in their high functional and technical quality, but also in their attention to human needs. The exhibition will also include a selection of Finnish designs in cooperation with the companies Artek and Iittala. The latter will present also to the public the new Sarjaton collection designed by Harri Koskinen,  Aleksi Kuokka, Samuji and Musata.
