Famed journalist Arrigo Levi dies at 94

MODENA – Arrigo Levi, the journalist and writer who directed newspaper La Stampa and had a long career in the business died at 94, reports Il fatto quotidiano.  

 Levi also worked as a political adviser for two Italian presidents and in London for BBC World and Times of London. Levi came from a Jewish family and had to flee Italy in 1942 due to the subjugation of the racial laws. He and his parents lived in Buenos Aires where he began his career during which he would work for famous Italian newspapers such as La Stampa and Corriere della Sera and as Israel correspondent for la Libertà.
