MONZA – A railway accident took place at around 11:45 Wednesday morning in the station of Carnate Usmate in the province of Monza in Lombardy, no serious injuries are being reported.

 According to reports a Trenord train derailed while in transit and the rescue services arrived immediately at the scene. There were three people on board the train, two drivers and a passenger, the drivers were injured but according to local Emergency services their injuries should not be serious. The passenger broke the window glass to escape the train, reports Corriere della Sera. Four carriages derailed and the train finished off the tracks against a pylon.
