Theresa on vacation in Lake Garda
ROME - Just like last year, Great Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May has chosen Sirmione near Lake Garda for her summer vacation, political officials said on Monday.
She has a week off from Saturday, 28 July to spend quality time with her husband. The two are also escorted by a group of bodyguards and 007 agents that have secured the little town in Brescia on the border with Veneto.
She arrived in the area around lunch time, on a motorboat escorted by the Guardia di Finanza. Once disembarked on the beach in Padenghe in front of the Penisola dei Poeti she was then welcomed by leaders in the local council.
The Italian police force, on alert for the special visit, are working together with her agents.
