ROME - Don Contin, the parish priest from Padua with a secret perversion, has been dragged back into the limelight after another investigation has been launched concerning domestic violence.

 Previously, Don Contin was allegedly embroiled in a sex scandal after a jilted lover, one of his parishioners, turned to the Carabinieri after her shocking stories were ignored by church authorities, and this is what she had to say:

 Don Contin had been having sexual relationships with 20 women from his parish, many recovering from failed marriages, immoral certainly, but illegal no. The priest allegedly organised secret meetings with men in the rectory, some of which she claimed were also priests, and participated in orgies, all amongst consenting adults.

 The legal trouble began for Father Contin with the allegation that he increased the attendance with prostitutes, even telling some women that there was good money to be made doing it.

 The Carabinieri raided the priest’s house shortly before Christmas 2016 and discovered a treasure trove of smut in his dwelling: “erotic gadgets,” video tapes of orgies featuring sex with black and transvestites, all filed discretely under the names of popes.

 This parallel investigation is into claims that the fervent father was also physically violent, exhibiting threatening and erratic behaviour. The woman, a 49 year old Romanian, alleges that she was thrown to the ground and kicked by the priest, even having a knife put to her throat at times.

 A second priest from the parish, Don Roberto Cavazzana, was called on as witness after the woman mentioned him by name during the investigation. This priest, avoiding criminal charges, allegedly had 13 lovers within the parish.

 Don Contin’s finances have also been looked into. He cruised around his parish in a jaguar, rolls around in the sheets of fancy hotel rooms but the investigation failed to find any cash missing from Casetta Michelino, a health facility of which the father is president, leading investigators to suspect that he afforded this lavish lifestyle on the back of a generous and grateful parish, police sources said.
