NAPLES - After scoring a goal in the Napoli - Feyenoord Champions League match on Tuesday, Lorenzo Insigne attempted to honour the Polish midfielder Milik by holding up his shirt to the crowd, but instead pushed midfielder Piotr Zielinski in the spotlight by mistakenly accepting his shirt.

In the seventh minute of the first half, Insigne received the ball and flew it past the Dutch goalkeeper. Victorious, he dedicated the goal to Arek Milik, his teammate who had recently suffered a serious knee injury. Attempting to pay tribute, Insigne went to show Milik’s number, 99, and instead accepted another shirt from Zielinski. The question being asked is whether this was a genuine mistake, or a well-timed joke.

The match took place on the second day of the Champions League qualifying rounds. The goal from Insigne, as well as two others from Mertens and Callejon, allowed the Napoli team to secure a comfortable 3-1 victory against Feyenoord.
