BERGAMO – A 43 year-old woman has run over and killed her 44 year-old ex-husband, while he was attempting to assault her with a knife. The woman had already reported him to the authorities for stalking her, local police sources said.

 The scene occurred in Via Roma, during the morning commute. Her ex-husband, an Albanian man, was waiting outside her office as she arrived for work.

 The man then began to attack the woman, injuring her in the arm with a knife as she tried to escape the scene in her car, rushing to leave the car park of Villongo’s library, where she worked.

 The woman told police that she ran him over accidentally.

 Based on this report, the public prosecutor has not yet begun investigations into her prosecution.

 The local police investigations into the incident revealed the man had been bothering her for some months, as a result she filed a report denouncing his behavior and warning police that he was stalking her.
