Taste of Milano food show returns for its 8th year

MILAN-- Taste of Milano returns to the Lombard capital for the 8th time to celebrate the region’s haute cuisine and star chefs.

The show will take place between May 4 and 7, getting the ball rolling for the other two main Italian Taste Festivals, which will happen later on in the year. Taste of Rome will be held in the “Auditorium Parco della Musica” from September 21 to 24, and the first ever Taste of Courmayeur will be a wintry affair, taking place from January 21 to 28 2018.

Taste of Milano, otherwise known as “the festival of chefs”, is the only event which allows the public to watch their favourite chefs at work in a live kitchen. The show will take place in the most stylish district of the city, The Mall and Porta Nuova Varesine will be equipped with 10 kitchens which will come to life at the hands of the chefs.

The organisers are expecting 22,000 visitors, which is hardly surprising given the impressive array of culinary delights on offer. There are 80 different stalls to choose from, exciting tasting sessions, captivating show cooking, cooking courses, and much more.

Tickets cost €16, not including food in the price, and can be bought on the websites www.tasteofmilano.it or ticketone.it.
