ROME -- The Commonwealth Club of Rome marks Commonwealth Day next Monday March 13 with a luncheon on the panoramic covered rooftop terrace of the Hotel Savoy in the Via Ludovisi at 12.30 pm.

 The lunch will be preceded by a presentation by Mr Steve Cook of the British Embassy of the Commonwealth theme for this year: A Peace-building Commonwealth.

 There will also be short presentations from several embassies, including Canada, Nigeria and Zambia, along with the outcomes from the inaugural Commonwealth Trade Minister’s Meeting scheduled for 9-10 March in London.

 Cost for club members: 35 euros, non members 45 euros.
