NAPLES  -- The second day arrived of the ‘Church and Work’ conference, bringing together the Bishops of Campania, Basilicata, Apulia, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia to the opening mass Thursday morning. “Do not let anyone kill the hope in your hearts,” said President of the Italian Episcopal Conference, Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, directed to Italy's youth.

 Cardinal Bagnasco said to the younger generation, “You will not be alone. The pastors of the Church will be by your side.”

 “Either Europe finds its own soul, that is not based on economy and finance but on moral values, or it will always walk a tough road,” said the prelate.
