Moroccan expelled, after threat to blow up Rome

He wanted to avenge the Arab world for the EU and US initiatives against ISIS

MOSELICE - A Moroccan citizen, Bamaarouf Adil, 37, has been expelled on charges of terrorism after saying that he wants to “blow up Rome”.

The Maghreb, who is under investigation for the incitement to commit crimes, was picked up by police at his home and accompanied to the courthouse for the validation of the order, and then subsequently escorted to Malpensa airport.

According to the findings from the investigation carried out by the ROS, the intentions of the Moroccan were to "blow up the city of Rome”, the place “from where Islam should start”, to avenge the Arab world for the initiatives of the EU and the US in the fight against ISIS.

Bamaarouf, in one of his utterances related to the end of Ramadan, claimed that as a Muslim, "he felt oppressed and offended by the actions against the members of that religion [Islam] carried out by Christians and Jews.”

The Moroccan had also indicated its intention to reach the “mujahideen” fighters, who are engaged in the war in the Middle East, via Turkey.
