PARIS - Since the beginning of November, ECS Group has begun representing Meridiana as its worldwide general sales and service agent, servicing the airline with total cargo management throughout its whole supply chain. ECS sells the complete Meridiana product from all its numerous stations around the globe.

  Meridiana offers ideal capacity via its scheduled services from Italy. It serves the following well demanded cargo destinations with wide body service: Dominican Republic, Cancun, Cuba, New York JFK, Mauritius, Dakar, Mombasa and Zanzibar. The new three-year contract will focus mainly on the prime cargo routes to and from Mexico, the USA and the Dominican Republic but also beyond, which will be supported by all global ECS links.

  Meridiana’s aircraft consists of wide-body Boeing 767 and narrow-body Boeing 737 aircrafts, with a respective capacity of about 10 tons and 3 tons. ECS expects to generate a good 4,000 tonnes per annum by transporting a vast amount of DGR and perishable commodities. By sharing the same values and quality levels, both companies are looking forward to fostering successful business.
