TARANTO - A worker of the "Pitrelli" company, died on Tuesday in an accident on construction of the ILVA.

  Carabinieri and work inspectors are trying to determine what exactly happened and who is responsible for the tragedy.

  The men who died is 49-year-old Cosimo Matucii from Massafra in Taranto. He was crushed by a steel pipe, which he was loading into a lorry. The man died shortly after rescuers arrived.

  According to the unions such as Fim, Fiom, Uilm and Flmu, there were many delays and disorganization, which exposed the workers at risk at the site.
