PESARO-An ice cream fair will take place in one of Marche’s most picturesque towns where the best ‘gelaterie’ will promote their innovative flavours-educational workshops and the launch of ‘MyGelato’ App are also on the agenda.

 In Piazzale della Liberta from May 30 to June 2, teachers from Carpigiani Gelato University will set up two free educational workshops every day where they will reveal the secrets behind the making of their fruit sorbets.

 At the festival ten of the best ice cream shops in the province will present their six best flavours. The selected ‘gelaterie’ include; Alice il gelato Delle meraviglie, Tropical, Gelateria del porto, Polo, Pucci, Gelateria del corso, Vanilla & Co, Igloo, Vin’s Café and Germano mare.

 Visitors will be able to taste up to 60 different “creations” by using their Gelato-card that allows them to sample the ice creams at every stand. The presentation of the ‘MyGelato’ App will also take place allowing you to give away and win selected ice cream flavours.

 Other than the participation of teachers from the Carpigiani Gelato University and creative workshops there will also be on-going craft markets, rides and bouncy castles, art exhibitions and even live music on some evenings.
