Hottest year in Rome continues through Winter

Hottest temperatures in Italy will continue through the winter

ROME – Higher than average temperatures and increased rain is predicted for November and December in Italy, seasonal forecast reports on Thursday.

This fall has been one of the hottest in Rome ever so far in 2022, and recent forecasts for the rest of the year show that winter will not be cooler. The temperatures predicted for the last two months of the year are still hotter than the averages. In addition to the unusual heat, Rome is predicted to see much more rainfall than usual during December.

There have been climate reports suggesting that there is an uptick in rainfall for many places in the Mediterranean during this climate period, spanning from 2010 to now. The predicted temperatures for January return back to normal averages, but the temperature increase in the last decade has been steady.
