ROME – African travel expert Michelina Sanquest has been named as a Goodwill ambassador for tourism from Italy to Zambia, the Zambian Embassy in the Eternal City announced.

 Ms Sanquest received the appointment in a ceremony at the Embassy from the Zambian Ambassador to Italy, H.E. Joseph Katema.  

 Ms Sanquest has extensive experience as a tour operator to Southern African destinations on European markets and also in organizing official missions to Southern Africa.

 Bolstering tourism between Zambia and Italy has been given a top priority by the government of the Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema since his election last year.
