Florence museums announce reopening schedule

  FLORENCE - The museums and galleries of the Tuscan capital have announced the next stage of their reopenings, in line with Florence's transition into a yellow zone from Monday, starting with the opening of the Boboli Gardens on Tuesday, which will be open from Monday to Sunday, 8:15 am to 6:30 pm.

  The following Tuesday, May 4, will see the reopening of the Uffizi Gallery (also from 8:15-6:30), with 14 new rooms dedicated to the 16th century works from Florence and Emilia Romagna. Palazzo Pitti has also announced its reopening for May 4, with visitors being welcomed back to the Palatine Gallery, Gallery of Modern Art and Grandukes Treasury, all housed within. This will be open from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30. 

  Any visitors wishing to go on the weekend will have to pre-book.
